Karen Ehrhart, Ph.D. Karen Ehrhart is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at San Diego State University. She received her B.A. from Westmont College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland. She served as an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at San Diego State University for five years before joining the Department of Management. Dr. Ehrhart’s areas of expertise include international human resources management, recruitment and person-environment fit, and climate for service. She regularly presents her work at national conferences such as the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Academy of Management. Her research has been published in outlets such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Human Resource Management Review, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, and Leadership Quarterly.
