Beth
G. Chung,
Ph.D. Beth G. Chung-Herrera is an Professor of Management at SDSU and teaches organizational behavior, leadership, and group process. Beth is currently on the Faculty Advisory Committee for the Hospitality and Tourism Management Program and on the editorial board for the Journal of Organizational Behavior. She is past co-chair of the Membership Committee and the Committee for Ethnic Minorities for the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Prior to joining the faculty at SDSU, she was an assistant professor at Cornell University, a consultant for Personnel Decisions International, and an independent consultant for various Fortune 500 companies. Bethís current research interests include topics such as services management (especially the interface between customers and employees), diversity, and leadership competencies. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park and her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
