ALPFA Students of SDSU

ALPFA Students of SDSU is a student organization dedicated to promote the mission of the national ALPFA organization for students at SDSU. ALPFA Students of SDSU seeks to expand opportunities for those who seek careers in accounting, finance, and related business fields by:

  • empowering them to develop as leaders through the management of their chapter
  • delivering quality student programs focused on professional development
  • providing access to ALPFA's industry network of professional members and sponsors
  • offering access to scholarship programs
  • creating opportunities to network with other students.

ALPFA Students accomplishes its goals by maintaining a close relationship with the local and national professional chapter and by inviting prominent companies to speak at its weekly meetings.

ALPFA is the premier Latino organization for professionals and students in business, finance, accounting, and related professions.

Beta Alpha Psi

Beta Alpha Psi is a national honors scholastic and professional coed business fraternity. The primary objective of the fraternity is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the field of accounting, finance, and information systems. This includes promoting the study and practice of business administration, providing opportunities for self-development, associating with members and practicing professionals, and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.

Student Accounting Society

The Student Accounting Society (SAS) was originally part of the National Association of Accountants (NAA). SAS has become one of the most outstanding clubs on the SDSU campus. The Student Accounting Society is committed to serving the needs and interests of future accountants. With over 100 members, it has proven to be a beneficial resource to Accounting Majors at San Diego State University.
