Teresa T. Young, CPA

Teresa Young leads the health care and life science group for Deloitte Tax in the Pacific Southwest.  Teresa also serves as the co-leader of the life sciences group for Deloitte for the region and is the regional tax leader of the firm’s women’s initiative. She has been with Deloitte for nineteen years.  Her clients include life science companies, hospital systems, health plans and research institutes.

Teresa lives in Solana Beach and splits her time between the Los Angeles and San Diego offices of Deloitte.  She has two children and leads an active lifestyle which includes surfing the local San Diego surf breaks with her family.  She is active in the community and serves on a number of not-for-profit boards.  She was a founding board member of Athena, a group for women executives in the San Diego area.

Teresa graduated from San Diego State University with a Masters in Accounting, with an emphasis in Taxation.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California San Diego with a B. A. in Chemistry.
