Accounting Student Chosen for Moss Adams Competition

Ryan

SDSU accounting senior, Ryan Aanerud was invited by accounting firm, Moss Adams LLP, to participate in their real-life consulting competition, Project Run With It (PRWI). Aanerud was one of only 60 students from across the U.S. invited to partake in the event, which took place August 6, 2009.

Open to universities with Beta Alpha Psi chapters, PRWI offers three non-profit organizations an opportunity to receive pro-bono business consulting services by way of the student consultants. Each non-profit organization is assigned five four-person student teams to create competing business plans specific to each organization. The student presentations are rated on their potential cost-effectiveness and practical application by the judges, which includes a member of the non-profit organization, a faculty advisor and a Moss Adams partner.

Each Beta Alpha Psi chapter represented on the winning team receives $1000.
