San Diego Business Journal Honors John Burke

john

John Burke (’96, accounting) was named as 2009’s Chief Financial Officer of the year within the small public company category by the San Diego Business Journal for his work at St. Bernard Software.

Burke has been the CFO for St. Bernard Software since October of 2007. Additionally, he owns his own consulting company, Business Optimization & Strategic Services (BOSS), which specializes in turning around troubled organizations.

Burke was honored for his work in turning St. Bernard Software around “from a near-bankrupt public company to a cash-flow-positive growing business with very efficient and streamlined operations.”
