Notable ProgramsEntrepreneurial Management Center: Offers programs that support and serve the entrepreneurial sector and essential to train future business leaders. The EMC is dedicated to engaging graduates who can add immediate value to emerging growth companies. Students can benefit from the internship programs, graduate classes in entrepreneurship; the Venture Challenge—annual business plan competition; Annual distinguished lecturer in entrepreneurship and more. The International Business
program is the largest of its kind in the US and arguably one
of the best. The undergraduate level, requires students to study
a second language; to study an area of regional/cultural specialization;
to have a business specialization; to complete an internship; to
study or complete an internship abroad; and finally, to have a language
exit examination in order to graduate! Mission: The mission of the College of Business Administration at SDSU is to maintain a challenging learning environment that fosters excellence in business education and develops business professionals through innovative programs, applied learning, research, and collaboration with alumni and the local business community. Our programs reflect the international, entrepreneurial, hi-tech, and tourism character of our region and provide opportunities for students and faculty to integrate their academic work with experience in the San Diego community.
