SDSU’s College of Business Administration SAN DIEGO (May 25, 2010) - The College of Business Administration at San Diego State University (SDSU) announced today the addition of Craig T. Stevens to the College’s board of directors. Stevens, who earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from SDSU in 1982, is a 27-year veteran of the commercial real estate and financial industries and the principal and CEO of Mar West Real Estate in Tustin, California. Stevens has been deeply involved with various SDSU programs in the past few years, including serving as the chairman of SDSU’s Orange County alumni organization and as a member on the Aztec Parents Advisory Board. He has also served as a judge/panelist during SDSU’s Entrepreneurial Management Center’s Venture Challenge business plan competition. “Craig has been one of our most active and valuable local alumni and his inclusion on the College of Business Administration’s board of directors was a perfect fit,” said Dr. Gail K. Naughton, dean of SDSU’s College of Business Administration. “Additionally, his years of business expertise strengthens the College’s focus on real estate education and research.” “As an SDSU graduate and the parent of a current SDSU student, I have a unique perspective on some of the challenges facing the College and the University,” said Stevens. “I look forward to working with the College’s board of directors, as well as the opportunity to continue serving SDSU, its students and the surrounding community.” Steven’s tenure on SDSU’s College of Business Administration’s board of directors is effective June 1, 2010.
