Mack to Join SDSU’s College of Business Board of Directors SAN DIEGO (January 31, 2012) - The College of Business Administration at San Diego State University (SDSU) announced today that Cary Mack (’82, business administration) has been named to the College’s board of directors. Mack is the co-managing partner of Southwest Value Partners, a private equity real estate firm based in San Diego and Phoenix. He also serves as chairman of the board of Torrey Pines Bank and on the board of directors and audit committee of Western Alliance Bancorporation. “With his substantial expertise in the real estate and finance industries, Cary’s talents will be a significant asset to SDSU’s students, our faculty and our administrators,” said Dr. Michael Cunningham, dean of the College of Business Administration. “As a San Diego native and a College of Business alumnus, his devotion to the city and the university make him a natural fit as a director for the College of Business Administration.” “I owe SDSU a great debt for the education I received while attending there,” said Mack.”I’m looking forward to offering meaningful contributions to Dr. Cunningham’s initiatives and adding value to the SDSU business student experience.” Mack’s tenure on the board begins February 1, 2012.
