SDSU’s College of Business Administration Announces New Board Member
SAN DIEGO (June 1, 2009) - The College of Business Administration at San Diego State University (SDSU) announced today the addition of Brian Hansen to the College’s board of directors. Hansen is a long-time veteran of the medical diagnostic industry and currently serves as the vice president of North American sales for Gen Probe Incorporated. He earned his M.B.A. from SDSU in 1992.
“Brian brings a great deal expertise from the life science sector to the College’s board of directors,” said Dr. Gail K. Naughton, dean of SDSU’s College of Business Administration. “This expertise, along with his status as an SDSU alumnus, helps the College to address the San Diego biotech community’s requirement for top-notch future leaders.”
“I look forward to getting involved with SDSU as a member of the College’s board in order to continue their good work within the local community,” said Hansen.”My short and long term goals are to bring my experience within San Diego’s business community to the board and to assist the board and the College with any issues and opportunities that might arise.”
Hansen’s tenure on SDSU’s College of Business Administration’s board of directors is effective June 1, 2009.
