Welcome

Welcome to my Education Technology 541 personal and professional portfolio. My name is Jerome G. Budomo. I am a San Diego native and graduated from Samuel F.B. Morse High School in 2000. I attended San Diego Sate University and received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Math & Science in 2005.

I am currently a Graduate Student at SDSU in the Postsecondary Educational Leadership Program with an emphasis in Student Affairs with an expected graduation in May 2009. I am taking this course as an elective to enhance my skill knowledge in web design, which will benefit me professionally in my field.

I have three years of professional work experience in the field of student services. I have worked with the Office of New Student and Parent Programs with Orientation. I have worked with the Center for Community Based Service Learning. I currently work with the Office of Intercultural Relations/Cross Cultural Center. I am highly experienced and trained in the areas of progam development in the areas of cultual awareness and leadership. I also have experience in student organization advising. I have worked extensively with the San Diego community to establish community partners to encourage our students to become involved in community service. In addition, I have worked with Faculty in implementing service learning components into their course curriculum.

The purpose of this portfolio is to demonstrate my mastery of basic skills in Web authoring such as inserting and editing text, graphics, tables, and various types of links, as well as Web site file management, and uploading and downloading files to and from a designated Web server.
