EVENTS IN SAN DIEGO AND SURROUNDINGS

  • Art: See works by artists including Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky and Kaethe Kollwitz. Visit the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park; www.sdmart.org

WHAT SOME OF OUR STUDENTS ARE UP TO

  • Kevin Mizuno, German minor, has been awarded an internship through the Transatlantic Program of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest.

  • Megan Strang, International Business major, has received a grant administed by the Fulbright Commission to teach English in Austria in 2008-09.

WHO'S STUDYING ABROAD?

Summer 2008: Jeremy Rupel, German major, is studying at the Freie University in Berlin; Katarina, second year student of German, is studying at the University of Ulm.

  • 2008-2009 Academic Year: Grizelda Kersteen, German minor, will participate in the CSU International Program study year abroad at the University of Ulm. Lucy Khuu, German major, will be studying at the Karl Franzens University in Graz, Austria, on the ISEP program. Michelle Lanning, German major, will participate in the CSU International Program study year abraod at the University of Tuebingen. Tijana Porobic, German major,will participate in the CSU International Program study year abroad at the University of Stuttgart. Morgan Roberts, first year student of German, will participate in the CSU International Program study year abraod at the University of Tuebingen.
