Aldo Alcala, BA in German: teaches English in Darmstadt, Germany for Berlitz at companies including Deutsche Telekom and T-Online.

Eryn Anderson, BA in International Business with Emphasis in German: teaches at the Albert Einstein German Academy in San Diego.

J.R. Barham, BA in German: completed a Single Subject Teaching Credential at CSU Sacramento.

Josh Barstad, BA in European Studies with Emphasis in German (2003): serves as Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff and will soon begin a Masters degree program in Public Administration.

Robin Bulster, BA in German: is employed with Verizon Information Services in San Diego.

Sean Carpenter, BA in German (2004): works for Jetblue Airlines.

Neal Gadebusch, Minor in German and BA in Economics (2007): is software consultant for Epicor Software in Irvine, with prospects for transferring to their Frankfurt office soon.

Nick Ginger, BA in International Business with Emphasis in German (2001): earned a Juris Doctor in 2006 and an LL.M. in Taxation in 2007. He currently works in the International Tax group at KPMG, an audit, tax and advisory firm in San Diego.

Karen Guillaume, BA in German and Economics (1989): received a Juris Doctor degree in 1999.

Carlos Guzman, BA in ISCOR and German (2004): is completing a certificate program in paralegal studies at the University of San Diego.

Bonnie Harris, BA in Humanities with Language Emphasis in German (2000): received an MA in History at SDSU before entering the PhD Program for Public History at UCSB. Her dissertation research involves the WWII Jewish Community of Manila and its efforts at saving German refugee Jews during the early war years. She continues to serve as archivist for the Jewish Historical Society of San Diego and is Administrative Assistant at the Lipinsky Institute for Judaic Studies, SDSU.

Sarah Hargis, BA in German and History (1999): attended a Masters in European Studies program at the University of Limerick in Ireland.

Amir Irani-Tehrani, BA in German: is completing a PhD in German Literature at New York University. He is currently teaching as a lecturer of German and European Studies at San Diego State University.

Jane Jersak-Scharf, BA in International Business with Emphasis in German(2001): received an MBA in International Business at the University of Reutlingen and the European School of Business (ESB), where she was awarded the DAAD 'Preis fuer hervorragende Leistungen auslaendischer Studierenden'.

Anton Marinovic, BA in International Business with Emphasis in German (2001): after completing an internship at Bosch in Stuttgart, Germany, he did postgraduate study at the Smurfit School of Business, University College Dublin in Ireland. He currently works for Google, Inc. on Froogle.de.

Michael Marks, BA in German and English (2004): received a Fulbright Teaching Fellowship to Austria for the 2005-06 academic year.

Natalie Mayer-Hutchings, BA in German and French: lives with her husband in Cambridge, United Kingdom, where she earned a Masters degree.

Farah Mirza, minor in German: is supervisor of customer service at Turning Point Ministries in Lakeside.

Kim Morris, BA in German (1998): received her elementary teaching credential at SDSU.

Gisela Muller, German minor (1999): received a teaching credential at SDSU.

Lisa Naples, BA in German: received a Masters in Linguistics at SDSU.

Robert Parker, Minor in German (2000): works in the Information Technology Department of the Munich subsidiary of Ingram Micro.

Jessica Rapp, BA in German (2003) and Single Subject Teaching Credential: is a German teacher at Dos Pueblos High School in Santa Barbara.

Mathew Reves, BA in German at SDSU (1992) and Masters in German at CSU Sacramento: was named Foreign Relations Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in German and lives in Mainz, Germany.

Milan Rafailovich, BA in International Business, German/Management (2004): has received a patent and opened his own company in San Diego, Oceanetics, Inc.

Hans Schoff, minor in German: works for checkspaidforlife.com in Lake Tahoe.

Greg Sevik, BA in German and English (2004): received two consecutive Fulbright Teaching Fellowships to Germany for 2005-07 academic year. He is currently a graduate student of Comparative Literature at Binghamton State University in New York.

Christine Siders, BA in German (1999): received a teaching credential at SDSU.

Jamie Snow, BA in German (2004): works for the online registration company Active.com, where she speaks to German-speaking customers in their language.

Kelley Sorrels, BA in German (2004): works in the timeshare industry, where she deals with customers from all over the world. She plans to return to school to get a teaching credential.

Charles Ulmschneider, Single Subject Teaching Credential: teaches Spanish (and hopefully German as well soon) at Los Banos High School in Los Banos.

Matthew Urmston, BA in German (2000): spent two years on a Fulbright Teaching Fellowship in Vienna, Austria, where he now works as an English teacher and administrator at the Fachhochschule Wiener Neustadt.

Matt Voges, BA in International Business, German/Marketing (2002): works as post production coordinator with Nickellodeon and Paramount Pictures. He coordinated post production of 'Barnyard the Movie,' a fully animated Computer Graphic Illustration (GCI) feature film.
