unity week Unity Week is a week in Spring semester filled with events to appreciate, congratulate, and celebrate African and African-American students, faculty, staff and allies from all around San Diego. Schools that usually participate in Unity Week includes UCSD, Southwestern College, City College, SDSU, Cuyamaca College, Grossmont College, and Mesa College, just to name a few. Events are held throughout San Diego, and a collective memorabilia (T-shirts, wrist bands) are sold to signify one's appreciation of the event and of the culture. |
