Study Abroad in Asia

Each year, thousands of SDSU students experience the excitement, challenges and rewards of studying in another country.  SDSU offers several dozens of study abroad programs in Asian countries. They can receive resident credit, pay comparable fees to SDSU, and are able to use their financial aid while abroad in Asia. A variety of study-abroad scholarships are available for SDSU students.

Asian Studies at SDSU supports all university efforts to promote international education in Asia. Our study abroad programs aim to promote SDSU’s shared vision to create a community proud of its diversity and commitment to global social justice. The Chinese Studies and Language Program requires its students to study abroad for one semester in a Chinese-speaking country or region.
