Brown Bag Lecture Series
AGSA is happy to announce the beginning of our Brown Bag Lecture Series. This series is designed to provide an opportunity for sharing research and scholarship among colleagues as well as a chance to engage in discussion and exchange. This series will offer frequent informal talks by graduate students on topics spanning the fields of anthropology. The talks are open to all who are interested. Please bring your lunch and support your fellow graduate students!

New blog
The AGSA blog will be a place for current and past graduate students to share their experiences as they conduct research, complete fieldwork, apply for grants and scholarships and progress through the graduate program. Please check it out at the link below. If you’d like to participate, please submit entries to agsa@rohan.sdsu.edu.

Travel Grant
AGSA has a program to help fund student travel for graduate students who are involved in professional development activities such as attending or presenting at conferences, or doing field work or research. Active members of AGSA (attending meetings, fundraisers and events) will be given priority. We welcome travel grant applications pertaining to events at any point in the year, The submission period for Spring 2012 is closed. Click here to download the form.
