Page 5 -You must complete the GE requirements for composition and critical thinking. These must be completed in the order specified in the workbook. You will be prompted to register for these required courses when you sign up for classes and you will not be allowed to drop them. Check the box that pertains to you in column 1 and select from the choices available in column 2.

Pages 6 and 7 - You must complete the GE requirements in oral communication and mathematics & quantitative reasoning. These must be completed in the order specified in the workbook. In the pink space there is a list of majors. Find your major on either page 6 or 7. Check the box that pertains to you in column 1 on page 6 or 7, and select from the choices available in column 2. Stay on that page for the next part of your planning.

Page 8 - This page lists courses that meet lower-division General Education requirements. Refer to your Major Academic Plan (MAP) for course suggestions. For the remaining pages, refer to the catalog for detailed information about Advanced Placement examination credits, preparation for the major, general education (GE) requirements, and other graduation requirements. Read the course descriptions listed in the Courses and Curricula section of the catalog before signing up for a course. Please read footnotes and notes throughout the workbook.
