Research Interests

My primary interests are mathematical models in biology with differential equations. I have particularly focused on different physiological systems such as the ovulation cycle in mammals, plaque formation in Alzheimer's disease and models of thalamic auditory neurons. I was involved in the Biomedical Models of Cellular and Physiological Systems and Disease project sponsored by MITACS. I was also part of the Alzheimer's In Silico team, where I gathered relevant information about the disease components and some of the parameter tables.
