November 14, 2009: a Mapping Day is planned with Stephen Rochester and will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday the 14th of November. We will be meeting outside of Storm Hall. The location is a small grass area on the northwest side of the building. Students will learn how to operate the mapping equipment and learn to fill out field reports.

November 18, 2009: Town Hall Meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. Location will soon be determined. This is an important event for students to let their voice be heard regarding SDSU budget cuts. Think ahead of what is most important to you in the upcoming semesters as an Anthropology undergraduate or graduate student. One of the most pressing issues to be discussed is the importance of SDSU Anthropology retaining its status as a four-fields university. Students will be asked to voice their opinions and faculty will be present to hear these concerns.
