Eighteen-month old Tommy Neer is the youngest skater to participate at the Gold
Skate Classic, held February 15-16 in Bakersfield, California, since the
beginning of the annual event. Tommy played in the production number of the
Wizard of Oz as Dorothy's dog, Toto.
According to his mother, Tommy has been bitten by the skating bug. When he came off the floor and was asked to take his skates off, he becan to cry!
Tommy skates at the Aquarius Roll-A-Rena in La Mesa, California. His parents are former competitive skaters Sandra and Thomas Neer.
