Secondary Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise students for the purpose of assisting with the primary
responsibilities listed above.
- Inventory and purchase laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Maintain a safe working environment (actually, this was primary too).
III.) '81-'88: Undergraduate and Graduate Research Assistant at SDSU
- Developed skills that enabled efficient execution of responsibilties listed
above.
IV.) '83-'88: Graduate Chemistry Teaching Assistant. Supervised
organic, physical, and general chemisty labs.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching qualitative and quantitative laboratory techniques, instrumental
analysis, and theoretical concepts.
- Writing, administering, and grading examinations.
V.) '92 - '93, Volunteer Director of the Design and Construction of the
Solar Array for SDSU'S Solar Car Project
Responsibilities:
to Resume Cover Page.
VI.) Jun '90-Aug. '90: Research Associate at J. C. Schumacher Co.
Responsibilities:
- Operate full scale chemical vapor deposition reactors.
- Analyze thin film properties via scanning electron microscope and
ellipsometry.
- Correlate film deposition characteristics between the full scale and pilot
reactors.
