USENET Newsgroups are unmoderated discussion spots on the net. The "noise level" can be high, and it cannot be taken for granted that information presented there is correct! Listservers can be both unmoderated and filtered through an editor. Subscribing to a lively newsgroup listserver will rapidly fill your IN mailbox with articles of varying interest.
