- Marine Sediment and
Rock Data
NGDC's Marine Geology and Geophysics
global marine sediment and hardrock databases aim at serving as the
international focal point for marine geology data management. All data are in
the international public domain, available globally to any interested individual
or group. On-line searches of NGDC's data holdings and an index to seafloor
samples (cores, grabs, dredges, and drill samples) available for futher study
from other institutions are offered, along with direct download of many data
files. Among the databases searchable on-line are the Marine Geology Data &
Reports, The Index to Marine Geological Samples, Searches of
Marine Geology Data & Inventories, Sediment Thickness of the World
Oceans, Ocean Drilling Data , Marine Minerals Data On-Line &
on CD-ROM. This is an invaluable site for marine chemists.

- Pharmaceutical Information Network
PharmInfoNet is a high-volume pharmaceutical information
resource on the Internet World Wide Web, serving as a recognized entry point to
access high-quality independent assessments of therapeutics and advances in new
drug development. Regulatory and clinical users access diverse information
through PharmInfoNet, including full text articles from clinical publications,
economic data, symposium information from scientific meetings, and can benefit
from links to other relevant drug information and pharmaceutical sites. Those
interested in drug development can find leads to new investigational agents and
can monitor advances in drug research.
