Happy Endings for Old Technology
![]()
Non-leadingedge computers should not be sitting on a shelf. Don't throw out, recycle and get unwanted hardware where it can be useful. Remember one person's garbage is another person's gold; especially when that person is lacking these tools of technology. Older computers equipped with hard drives can still serve as basic tools for telecommunications, writing, and graphics. Pass your old but still-working computers on to your favorite charity, school, or non-profit organization. Those that need more than dusting can go to organizations that specialize in restoring computers for donations to the above choices.
The following resources offer ways to recycle computer hardware and other related-technology. If you are aware of a recycling opportunity missing from this listing, please send the information via Email to webmaster@rohan.sdsu.edu
