Installing ipsCA Certificates on the Palm Pre 


    
 
    

      

The ipsCA Certificates can be downloaded from ipsCA Root Certificate Bundle



If you obtain the certificates as an email attachment, download the
certificates to your phone by opening the email message and tapping
the attachment file name. Then follow the steps below to complete the
installation.



If you obtain the certificates as a file on your desktop, you
need to transfer the certificates file from your computer to the root
directory of the USB Drive storage on your phone. For instructions, see 

Use USB Drive mode to transfer photos, music, videos, documents, and other
files to your phone .



After you transfer the certificates file to your phone, follow these steps
to install it:



    
     
  1. Open Device Info icon.
    2. 

     
  2. Tap More Info.
    3. 

     
  3. Open the application menu and tap Certificate Manager.
    4. 

     
  4. Tap icon and tap the root certificate name (a self-signed certificate is the root certificate).
    5. 

     
  5. When prompted, tap Trust Certificate to complete the import.
    6. 

     
  6. If there are any intermediate certificates below the root certificate, install them in order by repeating steps 4 and 5.
