ROHAN Academic Computing

Before you start:

The iPhone Advance settings will not show up until you have added an email account. If you have not yet created an email account for rohan.sdsu.edu on your iPhone, do so now.

• From the Home screen, tap Settings.
• On the Settings screen, tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
• Tap Add Account...
• Tap Other.
• Tap Add Mail Account. and create your rohan.sdsu.edu email account, including your password.
• Tap IMAP.
• Enter the Incoming Mail Server for Rohan:
    Host Name rohan.sdsu.edu
    User Name your Rohan username
    Password your Rohan password
  
• Enter the Outgoing Mail Serverinformation:
    Host Name rohan.sdsu.edu
    User Name your Rohan username
    Password your Rohan password
  
• Tape Save.

Enable Incoming Email SSL

• From the home screen, tap Settings.
• Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars and choose your Rohan email account.
• Tap Advanced.
• From the Incoming Settings menu, slide Use SSL to ON.
• Tap Server Port and change it to 993.

Enable Outgoing Email SSL

• From the SMTP menu, tap the rohan.sdsu.edu server.
• Next to Use SSL, tap ON.
• Tap Server Port and change the port to 465
• Tape Save.

You may need to restart your iPhone for these changes to take effect.
