spell

The spell command will make a list of all the words in your file that are not in the UNIX dictionary. Each word will be listed only once, even if it is misspelled several times. The syntax for the spell command is:

rohan% spell  filename

spell will now print all of the errors it found to the screen. If you want to redirect spell's output to a file, the syntax is:

rohan% spell  filename  >  newfilename
