rn

rn is a UNIX-based newsreader that operates on three levels:
  1. newsgroup selection
  2. article selection
  3. paging
Each level has it's own unique set of commands. The first level commands allow you to select the newsgroups that interest you the most. In the second level, commands control the aritcle(s) you want to read. At the third level, the commands provide you with control over paging through the articles you are reading. Syntax is:

rohan% rn
The first time you access usenet a new resource file (.newsrc) is created for you containing a master list of all the available newsgroups from the SDSU newsfeed. To rid yourself of newgroups you are not interested in, use the u (unsubscribe) command.

Note: [ynq] after a question is prompting you for either y for YES, n for NO, or q for QUIT. If you need help while in any of the three levels, always remember h for HELP.
