passwd

Syntax to change your password on ROHAN is:

rohan%  passwd

Note the spelling: passwd, not password.

A ROHAN password must be at least 6 characters long and may not be a recognizable word or name.

Passwords will NOT be accepted that:

• Are less than 6 characters long.
• Matches anything in your ROHAN account information, such as your login name or an item from your finger data entry.
• Are found in the system's spelling dictionary. Words found in the system's spelling dictionary plus one additional character or digit would also be rejected. For example, apple1 would be rejected but apple12 would be accepted.
• Have more than 3 repeated characters - thus aaa would be rejected.
