| Jigsaw pass (12,720'+) is a cross country route (there used to be a trail) between Bishop pass and the North Fork of Big Pine Creek. Remnants of the trail can still be found near the top of Bishop pass. This picture was taken from the vicinity of Bishop pass.The actual pass is the right hand chute just to the left of center of the picture. The chute on the far right hand side of the picture has been dubbed "Not Jigsaw" by those of us who have crossed the ridge at the wrong place. Map |
