Biography

  • I come from a large family, I was born in San Diego and lived here until the age of 5. Then my family moved to Mexico and I lived there until the age of 15. I've been living in San Diego since then.  I love San Diego and I'm planning to stay here.

Education

  • Completed my elementary and middle school in Mexico.
  • Graduated from Hoover High School in the top 15 percent in 1991.  Received a five year scholarship from The Future Educators of America in order to become a teacher.
  • Received my Associate Degree from San Diego Mesa College in 1994.
  • Completed Bachelor Degree in Spanish and a minor in French in 1996 at San Diego State University.
  • I'm  currently enrolled in the Spanish Master Program at SDSU with a specialization in Linguistics and will complete the program on May 1999.  Also that same semester I'll complete the Translation Certificate.

Hobbies

Among the many things I like to do are reading, listening to music and exercising.  My favorite authors are Gabriel García Márquez, Isabel Allende, Sandra Brown  and Danielle Steel.  I like to listen to music in Spanish.  My favorite exercises are to ride the bike and to walk.  I also like to go to movie theatres and my favorite actor is Mel Gibson.
