Home Page)
Subject(s):
English Department curriculum
Grade Level(s): 7 - 12
Number of participants: approximately 280 AMHS students
& families
Summary:
to create an English Department Home Page so that the curriculum, activities, staff, and interconnected links can be accessed by the Arlington community
Goal(s):
to offer an alternative to the paper text Program of Studies with the dynamics of the Internet
Objectives:
to utilize the opportunities of RE 503 to create as dynamic a home page as possible with my independent student, Jessica Walsh
Rationale

Finding, connecting, and discussing English related issues with the Arlington community as well as the greater Web community, will keep the AMHS students and teachers open to new ideas for writing and discussion.

Assessment:
Observation and product: the actual home page document and the evaluation of the home page by students at AMHS; as well as a written evaluation of the learning process by Jessica Walsh
