On these pages you will find information about camping, hiking, fishing, and general recreation opportunities in the Fish Lake Basin, a premier recreation destination in south Central Utah. A click of your mouse takes you to your destination.
Information in this site was prepared by Dan Whitney, a professor of anthropology at San Diego State University and a volunteer working for the Loa Ranger District, Fishlake National Forest. This is not an official site of the US Forest Service nor the Fishlake National Forest. Maps were prepared using ArcInfo™, ArcView™, Microsoft Front Page™, Microsoft Excel™, and a Garmin GPS-q12™. The images are currently stored on a server located at San Diego State University, and the shareware program Interarchy™ was used to transfer files from my Apple MacIntosh™ to the server.
