Discussion Questions for August 05, 2004:

1) It is readily apparent that there is a vast difference in the acceptance of “sweatshop labor” when comparing the view of the ethicist vs the economist. Decide what those view points might be and which do you believe to be correct and for what reasons?

2) Kristof’s states in his article and video, that “the problem in a country like Cambodia is not there are too many workers being exploited in sweat shops but that there are not enough people working at all.” What is your view of his opinion and state your reasons why?
