1) In 2004, working for company XYZ, you expect certain rights to be upheld in the workplace. What are these “expected” rights? Do you believe that these rights are upheld? Who decides the standards? Is that fair and ethical?
2) What is the "Employment at Will Doctrine"? Is this fair and ethical to both parties? What considerations should an employer give when giving notice to an employee?
3) What are some of the social changes that are resulting in modifications to the "Employment at Will" doctrine? Why did the doctrine have to change?
