Project Overview:
As winter and colder months approach quickly, the needs of the homeless to survive grows. This project will involve collecting new and used socks from friends, neighbors, and discount retail stores. Afterwards, a donation to St. Vincent De Paul's will be made and possibly other homeless shelters depending on the number of socks collected.
My Goal:
to offer 5,000 pairs of socks to St. Vincent De Paul's and other homeless shelters in San Diego.
My Part:
I am involved with the organization Christian Businesswomen of San Diego, a group which has agreed to stand behind my project. Coordination of the event from the donation of socks to their distribution to homeless shelters will be my responsibility.
