Dr. Corlett is a philosopher specializing in ethics (moral, social, political and legal philosophy, including apology, capital punishment, civil disobedience, forgiveness, hate speech, indigenism, Latino/a identity, political violence, privacy, punishment, race, racism, reparations, responsibility, rights, secession, and terrorism); and epistemology. He is the author of over 75 articles and books on these and other topics, including the books: Analyzing Social Knowledge (Rowman & Littlefield: 1996); Responsibility and Punishment (Kluwer's Library of Ethics and Applied Philosophy, Volume 9: 2001, 2004, 2006); Terrrorism: A Philosophical Analysis (Kluwer's Philosophical Studies Series, Volume 101: 2003); and Interpreting Plato's Dialogues (Parmenides, 2006). I am also the Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Ethics: An International Philosophical Review (Springer: 1997-present), as well as the editor of Equality and Liberty: Analyzing Rawls and Nozick (Macmillan: 1991). ![]()
