Women's Studies Scholarship/Sistership Opportunities

Women's Studies has several excellent scholarship opportunities available. The scholarships are generally available in the Spring, with exceptions noted in the descriptions below. We strongly encourage all who are eligible to apply - remember that you have nothing to lose by applying! All winners are recognized at our Scholarship Lecture in April, which features a keynote address on a subject of relevance to Women's Studies and the community.

The public is invited to attend this celebration, along with members of the SDSU community and family and friends of the scholarship winners.

The Scholarship Office at SDSU has detailed information about the application process for all available scholarships at SDSU on their web site: In addition, applications and information are available here and from the Women's Studies office in AL-346. Announcements are made in Women's Studies classes about the availability of these scholarships as well and applications are then distributed.
