Conferences and General International Contacts

As part of their academic careers, professors in Women’s Studies have participated in a wide range of international conferences and consultations in countries such as: Costa Rica, Ireland, Sweden, France, Germany and England. This past summer, Professors Ghosh, Scott and Espin were in Ireland.

Professor Ghosh has been involved the past two years in meetings with women in Afghanistan. She will conduct a regional workshop in January 2005 with women leaders of NGOs from India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
