Departmental InformationMission StatementThe mission of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Languages and Literatures is to provide SDSU students and residents of the United States/Mexico transborder region at large with training and education in Hispano/Latino and Luso-Brazilian culture and civilization, including language, literature, linguistics, language pedagogy and inter-cultural communication skills, including translation and interpretation studies. |
