Attend David Carrasco's lecture. Write a two-page short speculative analysis wherein you adapt some specific element of Dr. Carrasco's critical method, thematic focus, and/or semiotic tactic and apply it to one of the works we have encountered this semester. Your essay is due on Friday, November 5, 1999 at 12noon, under the door of my office, 4117 Adams Humanities.

the CULY BUILDING, 338 7nth Avenue, DOWNTOWN San Diego, CA. All ages
are welcome and admission is free--your somewhat attention starved professor
will be the MC. assignment: You are a theater arts reviewer for The
Los Angeles Times,The Village Voiceor for The Nation. In one
to two typewritten pages, review this performance/event. Your review
is due TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12, 1999 in class.
