The Department of Chicana & Chicano Studies
The San Diego State University
Department of Chicana & Chicano Studies is pleased to announce the
César Chavez Memorial Scholarship established in the memory of the
former president of the United Farm Workers of America
Awards
of $300 each will be given at the end of the Fall semester.
Eligibility requirements:

Must be a Major or Minor in Chicana and Chicano
Studies, Border Studies, Latin American Studies, Liberal Studies or Social
Science

and have completed at least 30 units with
an overall GPA of 2.5.
Selection will be made on the basis of a short
essay describing past community contributions. Applications and essays
must be turned in to the University Scholarship Office (SSW 3636)
