Arabic Language Program | Arabic Minor

The minor in Arabic consists of a minimum of 19 units. At least 16 of these should be in the Arabic language, and 11 must be upper division units, with a minimum of eight units of upper division language courses. For their non-language course, students may select one of the following courses: Arabic 330 (Arabic culture, taught in English), History 473
(Middle East: Beginnings of Islam to 1500), History 474 (Middle East: 1500-Present), Political Science 363 (Government and Politics of the Middle East), and Religion 328 (Islam). A minimum of seven upper division units must be completed in residence at San Diego State University.
