My SDSU Page

When you log in to Blackboard, you will be taken to the My SDSU page. You will see a list of all your Blackboard courses in the My Courses box or module. Clicking on the name of the course will take you directly to the course site.

On the left side of the My SDSU page is the Tools module. From here you can check grades for any of your Blackboard courses, send email, and add personal tasks or calendar entries.

In the upper right hand corner of the page are two small gray buttons titled Content and Colors. These buttons let you customize the look of your My SDSU page. Clicking on the Colors button allows you to change the color of the module banners. The Content button allows you to add and arrange modules on your My SDSU page.

Personal Information

You can no longer change your personal information in the Blackboard system. All changes must be done through SDSU e-Services. Although the Personal Information link is available, if you change information in this area, it will be overwritten (changed back) within 24 hours. Any changes made through e-Services will be entered into the Blackboard system within 8 hours, and will be saved in both the e-Services and Blackboard systems.
