Request a course site

All instructors are required to attend an Introductory Training session
before receiving a Blackboard course site.

If you are teaching a for credit course via Extended Studies or SDSU, a Blackboard course site will be automatically created for you several weeks before the beginning of your semester or session (Please note: You do not need to contact Blackboard Support).

However, if you want to get started early, call to request a development course.

Note that a development course is an empty Blackboard course (without enrollments). Content can be created in development course and copied easily to official academic courses.
