What is Course Availability?

The Course Availability feature allows you to control access to your course. An unavailable course is not visible to students but is visible to instructors, teaching assistants, and course builders. The Course Availability feature allows faculty to develop a course or test out a course site without students having access.

How to Manage Course Availability?

  1. Click on Control Panel link on the left side of the course site.
  2. Click on Settings under Course Options section.
  3. Click on Course Availability.
  4. In the Set Course Availability section, click the Yes radio button.
  5. Click the Submit button.
Questions about Course Availability

No. Make your course available using the procedure detailed above.

  1. My TA can access my unavailable course, but my Grader says they cannot find it.
