Born in Mexico City, Mr. Guasch has had a long and prestigious career with over 27 years in the communications industry. All those years have been spent with Televisa, the largest producer of Spanish-Language programming in the world, whose sphere of influence has literally touched the four corners of the globe.

Currently, Mr. Guasch is General Manager of XEWT Channel 12, the largest TV station in the region whose state-of-the-art facilities are arguably considered one of the most modern in either the U.S. or Mexico. This massive facility was born out of Mr. Guasch's vision and foresight because he realized the importance and role of such a facility in this area to unify and empower the region through locally produced programs, specials, community events and news.

Mr. Guasch is also Vice President of the Northwestern Region of Televisa.

Mr. Guasch's commitment to the community is also very extensive which is evident in his slogan for XEWT, "Siempre Contigo" or "Always With You". This is the driving force behind his philosophy which he exemplifies in all his humanitarian work with non-profit groups such as: Asociacion Gilberto, The Red Cross, Ciudad de Los Ninos and the building of Children's Hospital in Tijuana; as Co-Chair of the San Diego-Baja Communications Council; and participation in Mayor Golding's Cities of the Future telecommunciations initiative.
