Lipinsky Institute
The Lipinsky Institute for Judaic Studies at San Diego State University was founded in 1985 and derives its funding from an endowment established with a major contribution by Bernard and Dorris Lipinsky. Funding has grown considerably over the years through the generous donations of the Jewish community. Over 900 students enroll in Jewish Studies courses at SDSU annually. Professor Risa Kohn, from Religious Studies, serves as the director for the Institute and the Jewish Studies Program. You can reach her at 619-594-5327 or by email at rkohn@mail.sdsu.edu
