| The program in French and Francophone Studies offers degree programs leading to a B.A., a B.A. for the Single Subject Credential (High School), and an M.A. Students may also earn a MInor in French. French may also be chosen as a language emphasis area for the major in European Stduies or in International Business. | |||

| A study abroad component in a French speaking
country is highly recommended in all degree areas. A variety of study abroad options (including semester and academic year programs) are available through both SDSU and the CSU system. Opportunities are also available for teaching in French lycées. |
