M.S. in Exercise Physiology

Student Assistantships / Scholarships / Tuition waivers

  • Teaching assistants for ENS 304L Exercise Physiology Lab – Dr. Kolkhorst is the course director for this undergraduate lab course that includes the selection of TAs.  Generally, TAs selected for these positions (3 to 5) will have completed the ENS 662 Advanced Exercise Physiology Lab course under Dr. Buono, which is offered fall semesters only.
  • Laboratory assistant for the exercise physiology labs – Dr. Kolkhorst is the lab director and makes the selection of the lab assistants (one 20 hr/week or two 10 hr/week positions) who are responsible for keeping the lab running smoothly.
  • Fred W. Kasch Endowment for Graduate Students in Exercise Sciences – This is an endowment started in 1999 for ENS graduate students to support their educational training.  Awards from the endowment are made twice a year and are given in three categories: partial support for research activities, partial support of tuition, and partial support to attend professional meetings.
  • Teaching assistants for ENS activity courses
  • Research assistantships often become available from research grants awarded to faculty.  These vary in length and responsibilities.  Contact one of the faculty members for additional information.
  • Out-of-state tuition waivers for graduate students with assistantship
